Creative Niche Creation
Lock in on a creative niche
Let’s set things straight even though there are millions of sites on website building it did not stop me from creating my own creative niche. It is important to understand that presenting your content in a different light than your competition can help you on your own creative niche creation.
Let your personality shine through your website
Often times what happens is people get so caught up in analytics, seo and site structure they totally forget why they are doing what they are doing. I should say they forgot about whom their website caters to. The most important ingredient about site building and brainstorming your own creative niche website is the principle that you site should be the brainchild catering to your readers. The feeling they get after reading any one article your write should be they want to read more of what you have to say.
You should write each article as if you were talking to the reader in person. Let your personality shine through your website and blog articles. That is something other webmasters cannot mimic.
Average time on site gauges a successful creative niche
There are ways to gauge if you are successful at your own creative niche. The main way is how long visitors stay on your website. Google calls it Avg. Time on Site. Here at Niche Website Strategy our average time on site statistics from Google Analytics is 5:05 that means on average each visitor spends almost 5 minutes on our website per visit. This is great. This means I am serving my readers relevant and thought provoking content. It also means my brainchild is turning into my own creative niche. This is all rather exciting and makes me want to get more content for you more often.
Why it excites me so much and should excite you too if you see similar results is the longer visitors stay on your website the greater chance they might link, talk, tweet and buzz your website. By offering them unique content you can not only increase your visitor numbers but beat the competition at their own game. Who knows your efforts and hard work might land you a job in a professional field.
Analytics serve no purpose to new websites
Please don’t be discourage maybe your average time on site is very low. This whole process does not happen overnight you have to spend many hours writing and researching. What you should concentrate on is setting up mini website goals.
I ran into a huge problem that almost made me quit blogging totally and that was when I launched this website I was hoping to see immediate results. When I did not see these immediate results I was very discourage.
I suggest installing analytics on your new website but do not look at the stats till after you have at the least 20 articles published. Google analytics results are best interpreted over time. The longer your website is online the more relevant the analytic results will be. This will help you determine trends and what is not working. Looking at Google Analytic results when first launching a website serves no purpose but to discourage you. I suggest concentrating on more important goals and that is to blog and blog often.
Blog More Often
We recently set a mini goal which was a 30 day posting challenge. We are halfway through that challenge. This mini goal is serving two purposes. The main goal is to get more content to my readers and secondary goal to make me a better blogger. Why not give it a try with me? I would love to hear if you do decide to commit with me.
So keep blogging in your own unique way and if you need help creating your own creative niche I would love to hear from you.
