It is so secure I have been doing all my online banking for over 5 years using their browser without any trouble.
Firefox download speed is much faster than the rival IE browser. Slow download speeds is a huge time sink. The switch alone should make it worth it on that as a matter of fact.

This has given their browser the edge that IE lacks and increases the number of add-ons we the user have at our disposal exponentially. Firefox was the first browser that I am aware of offering tabbed browsing, which is extremely helpful if you do not want to navigate away from the page you’re currently browsing. Simply highlight a word or link and right click and select open in a new tab. This allows for quick and convenient research and comparison of different keyword variants.
Firefox has the best pop-blocker integration found preloaded in a browser that I have ever seen period. Pop-ups are intrusive if there was ever a guide about internet etiquette or more specifically website owners etiquette it should be at the top of the list of not to do’s. If you don’t like pop-ups you can guarantee your website visitors will not like them either.
