Twitter automation is simple way to automate twitter with your best content to serve up to your readers on a daily basis. It is a huge time saver for webmasters!

The key here is you don’t want to serve your twitter follower’s spam. I have seen some of my twitter followers do minute by minute updates 24/7. I do not recommend this. I am personally on a top of the hour update schedule. You should do the same.

One of the most intuitive tools I have come across to update my twitter account automatically is called Twaitter found at twaitter.com You can follow us on Twaitter by heading over to Scot Manaher @ Twaitter.

Some very cool features of Twaitter …

Schedule Tweets

If you have something to say on a repeated basis such as a monthly sale or weekly promo, set it up your tweet to recur.

The days of having personnel stay after hours to post timely tweets are over!

Tweet Calendar

The Twitter Calendar by Twaitter combines all the organizational capabilities from your office calendar tool and combines it with the Twitter experience. A familiar viewpoint in this new medium.

See the tweets you’ve posted through TwAitter in day, week, monthly, or timeline views and tweet directly from the calendar!

Ping.fm Integration

Integrate your ping.fm account to further twitter automation.

Create Groups

The amount of information coming from the hundreds, or even thousands, of people you follow can be overwhelming.

Get organized and take control of your Twitter timeline by organizing the people you follow (and even those you don’t follow) into groups.

Statistics

Use TwAitter to search Twitter to see what is being said in real-time about your company and products.

Save searches to easily retrieve common search terms on future logins.

View statistics on how often your brand is mentioned over specified time periods. (soon)

Make sure you follow us on Scot Manaher @ Twitter. If you follow me I will retweet your first few articles as a thank you.

With that this is Scot Manaher signing off.

Check back on Monday for more ways to improve your articles by integrating them with and into popular websites like Twitter.

If you have not had a chance check out last week’s article about Url Shortening Services and how they are not SEO friendly.
